Dr. Swihart grew up in Wakarusa, Indiana and graduated from NorthWood High School. He went on to complete his Biology degree from Valparaiso University in 2006, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Swihart then received his doctorate from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2010. He has had specialized training in Invisalign and Implants and is member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. In order to provide the highest quality of dentistry to his patients, Dr. Swihart takes many hours of continuing education. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Holly, son Brayson, and daughter Bailey. He also loves reading, working out, and watching Florida Gators Football and IU Basketball. Gibson’s was started in 1940 by Earl & Mildred Gibson (Ann Sheridan’s mom & dad). Gibson Arena was originally constructed as an ice skating rink. They could convert to a roller skating rink when there was no ice on the floor. The rink was converted solely to roller skating in 1949. Back in the day when there was still an Ice Plant on the property they also produced what many locals still proclaim to be the best ice cream they ever consumed. George & Ann Sheridan purchased the rink in 1969 from Ann’s parents and continued the family owned tradition.
